Not that we have a real fall in Texas, but I just pretend every year...
Today, the temperature is in the 90's here. We are still donning shorts, t-shirts and flip-flops...oh well.
I was so comforted by the words of sweet friends after my last post sharing my feelings of inadequacy, discouragement and exhaustion. It's good to know so many kind women who have been where I am and can cheer me on, so thank you so much for the encouragement! I will return to that post just to read all of your wonderful comments the next time I am having a difficult day...or maybe every day, just in case!
Hope you are having a wonderful FALL day wherever you are!
Love, Corrie

I hope you are feeling lots better today, Corrie! I know it always helps me to hear others have been through what I'm going through, too!
As for fall, our leaves our starting to really change colors- and today was absolutely gorgeous here in Oregon! We needed a bit of "Indian Summer" and we're getting it...I was wearing my sandals, capris, and short sleeves today!
However, I'm so behind in my fall decorating...sigh!
Hey Corrie... it's still pretty hot here too, but I noticed red leaves climbing up a tree on our street and had to smile- welcoming Fall! I love Fall.
Hope you had a blessed day.
So glad you're feeling better! By all means, read those comments as often as you need them! :o)
I just love Fall and am so glad it's here. I just wish it was REALLY here, LOL!
I'm ready for the cooler weather also. But like you we don't get much of a fall here either blink and you just may miss it.
It felt like fall here for a week or so. Then, the 80s and 90s came back with a roar! I hope it gets cool again real soon though!
Glad you found encouragement from your feelings last week. Sometimes we get in a rut and need a little help getting out.
I understand what you mean. Not to much of a fall season in California either. Though I have started decorating my house a little, just to make it seem more like fall outside. Yesterday we reached over 90 degrees again. Aagh!!!!
If all us women don't have fall where we are, where in the world did it go? 'Cause it ain't here either, sister!
My trees go from green, to the ground. No change of color. I see autumn in one tree in DOWNTOWN, of all places!!, and it is just beautiful for a week. Then the road is a lovely coral shade for the next couple of days. Ha,ha!
Ugh! 90's! Plech. I remember the days......
Of course it has been wonderfully Fall-y around here. But tonight it is supposed to snow again.
I ask you... is there a happy medium?!
Hey Corrie. Just wanted you to know I was thinking of you! Hope you and you're sweet lil' family are doing well and you're enjoying the fall weather (oh wait, you'r ein Texas, LOL)!
